She was born on the darkest freakin' day of the yeaR,

Destined to seek the light because its the only rythym she ever knew to walk in, the cosmos always supplying that steady beat of light returning to the world just when things feel like they can't get any darker... And for as long as she can remember she has had her face toward the sunshine, no matter how little of it she'd been offered... Even then, the cosmos unfolded a chaos she hadn't ever known, Mercury in retrograde they say? Well, she isn't the only one that has found this particular trip around the sun in the year 2020 to be one of the darkest and most challenging yet... She tried to see the sunlight, but the fog kept rolling in, and she almost lost her way in the dark...

 

She pleaded with her creator, she questioned, she doubted, she cried, she BEGGED for a reminder of who she was. DESPERATE to remember where she belonged in all the darkness, she felt a glimmer of truth return...

 

In an instant, like a lightening bold, it struck her... She had the light inside of her all along... She had to rewind to the day she was born, because isn't it just like our Creator to send us messages so clearly, so rythmically that we lose sight of them all together? But if we LOOK for the light, it will find us, that even on the darkest night, the sun will rise in the morning, it always has, it always will. Even for HER, born on the darkest day of the freakin' year...  Hope remains, and it is written in the song that the stars are playing.

 

 She felt in her bones that if there was one thing she was born to do, it was to expose that one truth - her life's work was to point the world in the direction of our Source of life, our light, our warmth, our hope... Because even when she was born into a world at its darkest hour, she was made to look to The Light. And so it was.... The thing that she needed most to remind her of who she was was a power that she carried within her very self. As it is for you. When you were born, a fire ignited. A bajillion cells knit together from a single spark of light... do you know how many fires are ignited from darkness? None. Do you know that if you are living and breathing at this very moment you are carrying the very same power that lights the stars of the entire universe and the expanse of the cosmos within the skin that clothes your biological body??? YOUCARRY THE POWER of the entire UNIVERSE, to LIGHT YOUR WAY THROUGH DARKNESS - This is not news people, but if there is one thing I accomplish within the space of this silly blog, it is that I can plead my case for why YOU ARE ENOUGH to get yourself through the darkest hour, because the power of the light is and has always been within you, even if you were born on the darkest friggin' day of the year... Lets light up the world together, because even if your darkest night of this year was not on December 21st, you are the solsticebaby of your own darkness. Look to the light - The sun will return
